Sale and service of british car brands in the Premium Luxury segment — aiming to provide our customers with a five-star car experience.
Having a car related brand on the client list is almost every agency's dream. When this client is a dealer of the four British premium car brands Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin and Morgan — and at the same time wants to give its customers Norway's best car experience — we at the Minnesota Agency were very grateful that this dream came true.


Background
Insignia had developed a new strategy with their previous agency, arriving at the goal of delivering Norway’s best car experience. This strategy had been implemented, and the dealership was on the lookout for a new agency to help execute their newly defined strategic position.
Task
To review and refine the strategy while also giving the brand a visual upgrade so their identity aligns with the elegance of the British car brands they represent. The new visual identity was also to be implemented on their new website—a process already underway in collaboration with the digital agency Dekode.
Insight
The automotive industry is undergoing significant changes. Climate policies and new ownership models have led to increased competition, pushing dealerships to think creatively to attract new customers and foster strong, trustworthy relationships with existing ones. At the same time, we know that many customers are willing to pay extra for services that make car ownership as simple as possible, such as assistance with pick-up and delivery of cars for servicing or other practical solutions.


Solution
Through thorough strategic work, including regular workshops with a core team from the company and a full-day workshop with all employees, we collectively determined how the new strategic position could be implemented across all departments. We also placed great emphasis on engaging all employees by involving them in deciding how they could deliver Norway’s best car experience in their daily work.
We developed a new brand identity with a classic expression that clearly signals pride as a dealer of premium British car brands. Inspired by British automotive history, the logo was redesigned from a "car lettering style"—which could be mistaken for Opel Insignia—into a confident, sophisticated signature symbolizing exclusivity and commitment. The Union Jack emblem further emphasizes the origin of the car brands.
British racing green was chosen as the main color, complemented by a strong yellow accent—both drawn from the racing world.
