The Nordic gateway
Pareto Securities is Norway’s largest investment bank and a leading independent provider in the Nordic financial services market. Beyond the Nordics, the company has offices in London, Frankfurt, Zurich, Singapore, Perth, New York, and Houston.
The work with Pareto Securities has spanned a longer period of time. What initially started as a pure web project ended up becoming an extensive brand strategy engagement. To begin with, we helped Pareto Securities clarify the company’s strategic foundation to establish a clear strategic positioning as the premise for a broader brand strategy.
Solution
Every decision is based on emotions. Who do I trust? Who feels safest? Who seems to be in control? Nobody invests in risk — they invest in opportunity.
Following the strategic work, it was a natural next step to develop a new visual identity. Previously perceived as outdated, closed, and barely visible across most communication channels, Pareto Securities was reintroduced through its Nordic values: open, genuine, and reliable. A brand identity reflecting strong expertise and competitiveness, while clearly attracting both customers and top talent.

To make the value base clearer to external audiences, we placed strong emphasis on bringing real people and personality into the different communication platforms — both in how Pareto looks and in what it says.

Conference profile
With as many as 11 conferences annually and close to 6,000 participants, this is an essential part of Pareto Securities' business. We developed Pareto’s conference profile and templates, including vignettes, design and animation elements, and information design.
