With passion, pride and hard work, the family business on Kvaløya in Troms and Finnmark county, have gone from being a general store selling both meat- and fish products way back in 1924, to become a butchery for the quality conscious in modern times. With old recipes and time demanding natural methods, they deliver honest and fantastic products to the Norwegian market.

Being a professional and high-quality supplier for retail and the HoReCa market, in adittion to offer catering and having an online shop, you want to look professional. This is where we in Minnesota came into the picture.

We developed a new Brand Strategy where we emphasized on the company's history, core values and geographical location. Based on respect for the animals, nature and environment, Solberg Pettersen is a butcher who delivers world class produce from the wild and beautiful nature in Northern Norway.

We developed a new visual identity based on the strategy. Our creative concept was Macho delicate, with tough men handling first class produce. We also emphazised the traditional butcher handcraft, the family heritage and the beautiful surroundings. In the packaging design we used an old picture of Solberg Pettersen himself, engraved onto the products, while the colour palette is inspired by the colours of the beautiful nature in Northern Norway. As high quality products deserve delicate and high quality photos, the new web design is centered around delicate photos of produce, products, people, animals and the beautiful surroundings.
